Who I Am
Hey there! I'm Evan. I'm a Computer Science/Mathematics student at the University of British Columbia. This site is a portfolio of my work and a bit about my background.
What I Do
I'm currently working towards finishing my degree in Computer Science. My main focuses of study are full-stack development, database management, and system design. In my free time, I work on various programming projects and contribute to open-source software.
Background
My background includes work in the Minecraft modding community, as well as work with languages and technologies like React, FastAPI, C, Java, Python, Next.js, and VB.NET.
Experience
Okanagan Marine Robotics Sub-Team Member
Writing software as part of the integration team in the UBCO Marine Robotics Club.
Junior Developer
Creating Python automations and helping to develop a VB.NET inventory management application for Valhalla Pure Outfitters.
University Student
Currently taking Computer Science (BSc) with a Minor in Mathematics at the University of British Columbia.
When I'm Not Coding
You'll usually find me listening to new music, reading a book, drinking coffee, watching movies, hiking, playing games, or producing music.
